Summary

RosingTajana Šimunic Rosing's current research is in management and optimization of heterogeneous wireless networks, and on robust design of on-chip networks. She joined faculty in 2005 as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Department at UCSD. Prior to this she was a research scientist at HP Labs and research faculty at Stanford University. Her work focused on low-power system design, with special emphasis on embedded and wireless systems. She finished her PhD in 2001 at Stanford University, concurrently with finishing her Masters in Engineering Management. Her PhD topic was Dynamic Management of Power Consumption. Prior to pursuing the PhD, she worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Altera Corporation. She completed MS in EE at University of Arizona with thesis on high-speed interconnect and driver-receiver circuit design. She is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, is Session Chair for DATE.
