Amy is an Assistant Computer Science and Engineering Assistant Professor at the University of California San Diego. She is primarily interested in operating systems and networks in datacenters. Her recent research focuses on improving the efficiency of datacenter applications. Prior to UCSD, she was a postdoctoral researcher in the NetSys Lab at UC Berkeley, where she worked with Scott Shenker and Sylvia Ratnasamy. She received her Ph.D. in 2019 from MIT CSAIL, advised by Hari Balakrishnan and Adam Belay, and she received a B.S.E. in Computer Science from Princeton University.
